Hope you all had a great holiday break and had plenty of delicious food. Last week was a short week where the students had the ACT prep testing on Tuesday. With the Magnet curriculum evaluators coming in we have not had that much time to work on our new unit on the Advanced Rock Cycle. This week we will get deep into the unit and begin doing some activities and labs with rocks and minerals.

The Ed Performance testing is this week so make sure everyone is well rested and eating a healthy breakfast. Also, everyone is getting a new connections class, the schedule will go home on Monday.

Here is the schedule:
Monday, December 1st
Science
We will be learning about the Plate Tectonic Theory and taking Lancer notes.

Tuesday, December 2nd
Science
We will work on a foldable activity to learn more about the three types of plate boundaries. We will also begin Minerals.

Wednesday, December 3rd
Science
Ed-Performance Testing

Thursday, December 4th
Science
Ed-Performance Testing

Friday, December 5th
Science
We will be doing an activity on the rock cycle and how igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary rocks form.
